Jewellery Care
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your Seraphearls jewellery, please follow these care guidelines:
WEAR WITH CARE
- Avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics, sunscreen, and hairspray, as these can damage the lustre of pearls and metal.
- Put on your jewellery last, after dressing and applying beauty products.
- Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising.
STORAGE
- Store pearls separately in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratching.
- Avoid airtight containers - pearls need natural air and slight humidity to maintain their shine.
- Do not hang full pearl strands for long periods, as this may stretch the silk thread.
CLEAN
- Gently wipe pearls with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and perspiration.
- Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and a damp soft cloth, then dry fully before storing.
RE-STRING
- Full pearl necklaces should ideally be restrung every 1 - 2 years, depending on how often they are worn, to ensure durability and safety.
- If you notice looseness or gaps between pearls, seek assistance from a trusted jeweller.
- While we do not currently provide restringing services, we are happy to offer care advice or recommend professional jewellers if needed.
