Italian Fine Jewellery Craftsmanship

In Vicenza - one of Italy’s historic centres of fine jewellery craftsmanship - selected Seraphearls components are created in collaboration with a specialist goldsmith workshop established in 1978.

With decades of experience in precious-metal jewellery production, the workshop combines traditional Italian goldsmithing expertise with modern design and manufacturing technology. Its specialist capabilities extend across fine jewellery components, including clasps, closures and hooks, as well as work involving diamonds and gemstones.

Production is carried out in Italy by highly trained specialist craftspeople, with close attention to precision, finishing quality and structural integrity.

For Seraphearls, this depth of technical expertise is particularly important. The smallest components of a piece - an earring back, a clasp, a hook or a setting - may appear secondary, yet they influence how jewellery wears, functions and endures.

It is this meeting of specialist craftsmanship, modern precision and considered engineering that defines our approach to Italian production.

Responsibility & Traceability

Our selected production partners in both Italy and Australia are certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) under its Code of Practices, reflecting independently assessed standards across areas including responsible business practices, human rights, labour conditions and environmental responsibility within the jewellery supply chain.

Our selected Italian production partner also operates under RJC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification. Precious metals used in our Italian production are supported by Chain of Custody documentation provided with each production order, strengthening traceability and responsible sourcing throughout the precious-metals supply chain.

For our clients, this means greater visibility into what exists behind a finished piece. RJC certification provides an independently assessed framework for responsible jewellery practices, while Chain of Custody documentation provides an additional level of traceability for the precious metals used in our Italian production.
